Double layer gauzy cotton blanket. The top and bottom layers are joined by hand, using a delicate blanket stitch. Ms. Bouachan weaves an ombre effect, although each time the shades are slightly different. The current iteration is a mix of pinks and browns, a nostalgic hue that reminds me of sunsets.
Produced in small-batches Hand spun and handwoven cotton. Natural dyes. Woven at Ms. Bouachan’s weaving studio in Oudomxay, Laos.
